Social Worker (BHOP)

OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker (SW) to fill the position of Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP) Provider for the 374th Medical Group, Yokota AB, Japan. The best candidate possess a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree, a minimum of two years experience of clinical social work , and is already located or is PCSing to Yokota AB, Japan.

Education: Must hold a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
License: Must maintain an active license during the the time of employment. The social worker is responsible for maintaining/renewing licensure and shall not perform any service if license is inactive or revoked.
Experience. Shall have a minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting working with an adult population, or with children and teens if specifically working with that population.
Immunizations: Before start of work, health care workers shall provide proof of immunization from the following diseases according to CDC guidelines: Hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza. The RN shall also provide proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) skin test within 12months (if positive, proof of negative chest X-ray within 12 months) prior to start of work. After start of work, the Government will provide post blood borne exposure protocols according to applicable Air Force instructions (AFIs). Start of work is defined as the period of performance start date of the contract.
