OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill multiple positions within the Family Health Clinic, Women’s Health Clinic, and Pediatrics Clinic for the 18th Medical Group, Kadena AB in Okinawa, Japan. The best candidate possess an Baccalaureate Degree of Nursing (BSN), has 2 years of well rounded experience in nursing, and is already located or is PCSing to Okinawa, Japan in the near future.

Education: The registered nurse shall be graduated from a baccalaureate degree program in nursing (BSN) accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
License: Applicants must be a current U.S. licensed RegisteredNurse. Active, current, valid and unrestricted license to practice nursing in accordance with StateBoard requirements. License cannot be under investigation nor have any adverse action pending from a Nursing State Board or national licensing/certification agency.
Experience. The RN shall have a minimum of (2) two years of clinical nursing experience and must have practiced in a clinical health care setting within the last 12 months.
Immunizations: Before start of work, health care workers shall provide proof of immunization from the following diseases according to CDC guidelines: Hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza. The RN shall also provide proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) skin test within 12months (if positive, proof of negative chest X-ray within 12 months) prior to start of work. After start of work, the Government will provide post blood borne exposure protocols according to applicable Air Force instructions (AFIs). Start of work is defined as the period of performance start date of the contract.
