OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to fill a multiple positions of Cardiology Clinic/Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Keesler Medical Center, 81st Medical Group, Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. The best candidate possesses a Associate’s Degree in Nursing , and has a minimum of two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Department, or a combination of these units within the last 36 months. The RNs will be working at a newly established Cardiovascular Center within the Medical Group.

Education: possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from a college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Contractor personnel shall possess, provide proof of, and maintain certification in BLS and ACLS/ALS. No specific national certifications are required.
License: Must possess an active, full, and unrestricted nursing license within the jurisdiction in which the MTF is located. Assignment to a position not involving direct patient care within or outside an MTF does not eliminate the requirement for license or authorizing document.
Experience. Minimum of two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Department, or a combination of these units within the last 36 months.
Immunizations: There will be a pre-employment physical examination prior to commencement of work. The candidate shall report to a civilian physician to receive a pre-employment examination and immunizations prescribed by the MTF, IAW Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
