OSS is looking for a qualified and experienced Licenses Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) to fill a position for the for the 374TH Medical Group, Yokota AB, Japan. The ideal candidate is a LPN or LVN nurse who is already living in or currently relocating to Yokota, Japan with an unrestricted and current nursing license , and three years of full time nursing experience

  • Education: Proof of graduation from an approved National League of Nursing LPN / LVN program.

  • License: Shall possess and maintain a valid, current, unrestricted license to Practice Nursing from the state at which services are rendered. The candidate will be responsible for renewing all licenses before expiration date and will provide proof of renewal submission. The candidate will also be required to annually submit a copy of their current license the first duty day in January.

  • Experience. Minimum of three (3) years for full-time employment in a nursing field.

  • Language Requirement: Bilingual and proficient in both English and Japanese language required.

  • Professional Liability Insurance. Must carry professional liability insurance for your profession. OSS will negotiate coverage of this cost.

  • Immunizations: Before start of work, health care workers shall provide proof of immunization from the following diseases according to CDC guidelines: hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, TDap, and proof of a negative TB skin test completed within the past twelve (12) months (if positive, proof of negative chest X-ray within the past twelve (12) months), hepatitis A and poliovirus. After start of work, the Government will provide post blood borne exposure protocols according to applicable Air Force Instructions.
