OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Physical Therapist, to fill a position within the
Operational Medical Readiness Squadron (OMRS), 35th Medical Group (MDG), Misawa Air Base (AB), Japan. The best candidate possess a Masters or Doctoral level degree program in Physical Therapy, has three year experience in an outpatient clinical setting, and is already located or is PCSing to Misawa, Japan in the near future.

Education: Graduate of a Masters or Doctoral level degree program in Physical Therapy from a college of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
License: Possess and maintain an active; current; valid; and unrestricted license from a U.S. jurisdiction (1 of 50 states) and applicable Board Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). All licenses must be unencumbered and remain in effect during contract employment.
Certification: Maintenance of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Recertification will be provided at no cost to the employee.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) year experience in an outpatient clinical setting within the last seven (7) years.
Immunizations: Before start of work, health care workers shall provide proof of immunization from the following diseases according to CDC guidelines: Hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza. The RN shall also provide proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) skin test within 12months (if positive, proof of negative chest X-ray within 12 months) prior to start of work. After start of work, the Government will provide post blood borne exposure protocols according to applicable Air Force instructions (AFIs). Start of work is defined as the period of performance start date of the contract.
