Infection Control & Prevention Specialist

OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Infection Control Prevention Nurse for the 374th Medical Group at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Candidate must have an minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Public Health or Epidemiology or Microbiology to fill the position of Infection Control & Prevention Specialist. The ideal candidate should already be living in or planning to relocate to Yokota AB.

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology or Microbiology from a nationally recognized accredited college program.
Experience: Prefer three (3) years of current experience in infection prevention and control performed within the past four (4) years.
Immunizations: All non-military healthcare workers (contract, volunteer or student) will receive vaccinations and/or testing for only HIV, Hepatitis B virus (HBV) (if they fall into the appropriate category), TB (frequency determined by MTF policy) and Influenza (if available), per Centers for Disease Control guidance. All other required immunizations/tests, to include mumps, measles, rubella, varicella, and combined Teranus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap) must be performed prior to starting work at this MTF.
