Administrative Clerk / CLR TECHNICIAN

OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced admin to fill the position of Administrative Clerk / CLR Tech services for the 374TH MEDICAL GROUP, Yokota AB, Japan. The ideal candidate possess a high school degree, administrative clerk work experience, and has language proficiency in both English and Japanese. The candidate shall be knowledgeable in general administration, telephone etiquette, office management methods, excellent communications and customer service skills, and a strong organizational background. Personnel shall also be knowledgeable in computer operations to include Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications.

Education: Shall possess a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.
Experience: Shall have two (2) year experience of background in medical administration, or insurance claims, or referrals.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Personnel shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand both English AND Japanese fluently. For Japanese Language Proficiency: Test of results and Score of at least N2 or equivalent certificate are required for non-speaking Japanese speakers. OSS would accept a Japanese STEMP Score with a Benchmark Level of 8 (Advance-Mid) as an equivalent to the Language Proficiency Test certificate of Results and Score of N2.
Certifications: Employee must maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (Course C) or the American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support (Heart Saver) Course. Initial training shall be provided by the clinic.
Immunizations: Before start of work, health care workers shall provide proof of immunization from the following diseases according to CDC guidelines: Hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza. The RN shall also provide proof of a negative TB skin test within 12 months (if positive, proof of negative chest X-ray within 12 months) prior to start of work. After start of work, the Government will provide post blood borne exposure protocols according to applicable AFIs.
