Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurses

OSS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill two positions of Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurses for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) located at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, California. The best candidate possesses a current, valid, and unrestricted state license for Registered Nurse. In addition, the candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year of critical care experience and a minimum of two (2) years within the past three (3) years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience including demonstrated competence and excellence in advanced nursing skills, ECG monitoring skills, hemodynamics, and performance in emergency situations, patient teaching, and patient/family communication.

Education: Associate degree in Nursing, graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required in the United States/territories.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of critical care experience AND a minimum of two (2) years within the past three (3) years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience including demonstrated competence and excellence in advanced nursing skills, ECG monitoring skills, hemodynamics, and performance in emergency situations, patient teaching, and patient/family communication.
